And it probably was.

I still had the best time out there. Learned how to navigate the crowds. Followed the breaks as tide changed, paddled around Old Man’s, Point and Dog Patch like a maniac.
Walking out in shallow water, on that cobble stone reef, I just hoped I don’t smash into them when I come back in. First time surfing on hard rocks instead of soft sandy beach breaks had me a little nervous.

And yes, it probably was small. Do I care? No, I don’t. I stood up and rode them small waves. That’s all that counts. So fun!
